Clothes Closet & Food Pantry
The Ladies of Charity Clothes Closet Food Pantry (CCFP) is operated out of a warehouse located on the campus of St. Hugo of the Hills Church. Supported by a team of over 100 dedicated volunteers, the CCFP processes over 5000 orders, serving 7500 individuals each year. The CCFP works with 42 Oakland County Service Agencies, supporting over 249 caseworkers, providing clothing - from newborn to adult, household needs, basic hygiene and cleaning products, as well as food, to their clients.
The Clothes Closet inventory comes from generous individuals who donate gently used clothing and household goods. We receive donations several days per week or by special appointment.
The Food Pantry purchases food through Gleaners and US Department of Agriculture’s Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP).
Clothes Closet Food Pantry is also supported through personal and memorial gifts, as well as funding from grants and foundations.
